Meet the Makers
BAStar Silver is a family business out of Grants Pass Oregon. The team consists of Brent Bare, his wife Cassie, and their daughter Brenna.
Brent has had an infatuation with broke horses and cool cowboy gear forever, having a special love for the fancy bits. Brent worked at a small fab shop in high school, then a bigger fab shop until 1998 when he began shoeing horses full-time. Over the years he started using that experience in the shop to build bits, and in about 2015 Brent’s friend Tim Alden brought over the tools necessary to start the journey of engraving. Inspired by his wife since 1993, he also began not only making tack but silver jewelry as well.
Brenna has spent most of her life in the shop hanging out with her Dad, starting out with chalk drawings on the cement floor now to helping and working alongside her Dad as a Silversmith herself.
Together as a family they enjoy team roping, and being in the shop coming up with new ideas. Brent and Brenna want to thank you for checking out their website, and for supporting our business.
